WHEN OPENING THE PACKAGING BOXES, VERIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING UNIT EXIST:
ONE - STRIPPER AS3000
ONE - AUTO FEEDER AF3000
ONE - STACKER
ONE - A.C. POWER CORD
ONE - COMMUNICATION CABLE, FEMALE ON BOTH SIDES
ONE - POWER CABLE, MALE ON BOTH SIDES
ONE - OPERATION MENUAL
ONE - ROUND STACKER BELT

    A. INSTALLATION

    1. PLACE STRIPPER ON TABLE, OPEN FRONT AND BACK COVERS.
    2. SLIDE STACKER ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE STRIPPER, ALIGN BRACKETS WITH MOUNTING HOLES ON STACKER AND SECURE WITH 4 #8-32 SCREWS.
    3. ATTACH ROUND BELT BETWEEN STACKER PULLEY AND STRIPPER PULLEY.
    4. CONNECT COMMUNICATION CABLE ( FEMALE HOLES ON BOTH SIDES ) TO THE CONNECTOR MARKED COM.S ON THE LEFT SIDE OF STRIPPER. (IT DOES NOT MATTER WHICH SIDE OF CABLE YOU CONNECT TO STRIPPER.) USE SCREWDRIVER TO SECURE CONNECTOR.
    5. CONNECT POWER CABLE (MALE PINS ON BOTH SIDES) TO THE CONNECTOR MARKED PWR.S ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE STRIPPER (IT DOES NOT MATTER WHICH SIDE OF THE CABLE YOU CONNECT TO STRIPPER, USE SCREWDRIVER TO SECURE CONNECTOR.
    6. NOW SLIDE AUTO FEEDER TO ALIGN ON THE LEFT SIDE OF STRIPPER, ALIGN THE AUTO FEEDER TRACK CENTER LINE WITH THE STRIPPER TRACK CENTER LINE, PLACE AUTO FEEDER BASE PLATE ABOVE THE MATING BRACKET WHICH IS VISIBLY ATTACHED TO LEFT SIDE OF STRIPPER.
    7. SECURE THE AUTO FEEDER WITH 2 #8-32 SCREWS TO THE MATING BRACKET.

        NOTE: FAILING TO ALIGN THE AUTO FEEDER PROPERLY TO STRIPPER WILL CAUSE JAMS OF CHECKS.

    1. CONNECT THE COMMUNICATION CABLE TO CONNECTOR MARKED COM.F ON BACK OF AUTO FEEDER, SECURE WITH SCREWDRIVER.
    2. CONNECT THE POWER CABLE TO CONNECTOR MARKED PWR.F ON BACK OF AUTO FEEDER, SECURE WITH SCREWDRIVER..
    3. CONNECT A.C. POWER CORD TO STRIPPER SIDE AND TO WALL A.C. OUTPUT.

    B. PAPER LOADING

LIFT THE BACK COVER OF STRIPPER, PUT A ROLL OF PAPER ON TOP OF THE SPINDLE, MAKE SURE IT IS FLAT, AND THEN GUIDE THE STRIP TROUGH THE CAPSTAN ARM AND PULLEY B. MAKE SURE THE STRIP'S BOTTOM IS TOUCHING THE UNIT BASE. THEN ROLL BACK THE PAPER TO TAKE THE SLACK AWAY AND CLOSE THE COVER, THE MOTOR WILL LOAD THE PAPER AUTOMATICALLY.

C. OPERATION

  1. TURN ON/OFF SWITCH ON BACK SIDE OF STRIPPER TO THE ON POSITION.
  2. THE LIGHT AT THE FRONT OF THE STRIPPER TURNS TO RED. WAIT ABOUT 3.5 MINUTES UNTIL THE HEATER IS WARM. THE RED LIGHT WILL CHANGE TO GREEN LIGHT TO INDICATE SYSTEM IS READY. IF THE GREEN LIGHT IS FLASHING GREEN, THEN
    1. THERE IS CHECK IN THE TRACK, REMOVE THE CHECK.
    2. THERE IS NO STRIP PAPER LOADED INTO THE SPINDLE ON THE STRIPPER.

D. CHECK LOADING AND PREPARATION

BEFORE LOADING CHECKS INTO AUTO FEEDER:
  1. JUG THE CHECKS ON ELECTRIC JUGGER.
  2. IF JUGGER UNAVAILABLE, RIGHT JUSTIFY ALL CHECKS BY TAPPING THEM ON TABLE.
  3. MAKE SURE ALL RIGHT LEADING EDGES ARE STRAIGHT. AND NO DOG EARS ARE PRESENT.
  4. SLIDE AUTO FEEDER SLIDE DOOR OPEN AND PLACE CHECKS ON THE AUTO FEEDER BASE PLATE SUCH THAT CHECKS RIGHT LEADING EDGE IS AGAINST THE AUTO FEEDER STOP WALL.
  5. PRESS THE START PUSH SWITCH (MARKED) IN THE FRONT OF THE AUTO FEEDER AND NOTE CHECKS FEEDING ONE AT A TIME INTO STRIPPER FOR STRIPPING AND OUT INTO STACKER.
  6. AT ALL TIMES CHECKS COULD BE MANUALLY FED INTO STRIPPER TRACK.

E. ADJUSTMENT

  1. STRIP LENGTH CAN BE ADJUSTED BY TURNING THE KNOBS WHICH ARE LOCATED UNDER THE FRONT COVER. THE LEFT KNOB IS FOR THE TRAILING EDGE, TURNING CLOCKWISE TO MAKE THE TRAILING EDGE SHORTER, AND TURNING COUNTERCLOCKWISE TO MAKE IT LONGER. THE RIGHT KNOB IS FOR THE LEADING EDGE, TURNING CLOCKWISE TO MAKE THE LEADING EDGE LONGER, AND TURNING COUNTERCLOCKWISE TO MAKE IT SHORTER.
  2. THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HEATER CAN ALSO BE ADJUSTED BUT THIS SHOULD BE DONE BY TECHNICIAN ONLY. PLEASE CONTACT OUT TECHNICAL SUPPORT COMPANY.

F. CLEARING JAMS

  1. IF CHECK JAMS IN AUTO FEEDER, NEVER ATTEMPT TO LIFT IT OUT OF THE UNIT. ALWAYS MOVE IT EITHER TO THE RIGHT, OWARD STRIPPER, OR MOVE IT TO THE LEFT BY SIMULTANEOUSLY PUSHING BACK THE BLACK PLASTIC KNOB (WHICH IS VISIBLE IN THE HOLE OF BACK COVER) AND PULLING THE CHECK TO THE LEFT.
  2. IF A JAM OCCURRED IN THE STRIPPER, THE AUTO FEEDER WILL AUTOMATICALLY STOP FEEDING CHECKS.
  3. SHOULD JAM OCCUR IN THE STRIPPER, OR STACKER AND AUTO FEEDER DID NOT STOP FEEDING, PRESS THE STOP PUSH SWITCH ON FRONT OF AUTO FEEDER TO STOP THE CHECK FEEDING.

 

      III. RECOMMENDED DAILY CLEANING

    AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH WORKING DAY, AFTER THE MACHINE IS TURNED ON AND THE GREEN LIGHT IS ON.

 
  1. TAKE A PIECE OF STRIP PAPER 5-INCH LONG, FOLD IT TO HALF WITH THE ADHESIVE ON THE INSIDE AND GUIDE IT BETWEEN THE HEATER AND THE SKI SHOE FEW TIMES. THIS WILL CLEAN THE HEATER JUNCTION FROM ADHESIVE RESIDUE. (SEE FIG-1)

  1. TAKE A 'Q' TIP DEEP IT IN 99% PURE ALCOHOL AND CLEAN THE EXIT ROLLER WHILE YOU SPIN IT AROUND. (SEE FIG-2)

  1. TAKE A 'Q' TIP DEEP IT IN 99% ALCOHOL AND CLEAN THE CUTTING BLADES, CLEAN ALL THE FACES OF BOTH BLADES, ALSO REMOVE ANY PAPER PIECES FROM THE AREA. (SEE FIG-3)

  1. GENERAL CLEANING GUIDE
LIFT THE BACK COVER AND THE FRONT COVER, INSPECT THE UNIT AND MAKE SURE IT IS CLEAN FROM PAPER DUST, PAPER PIECES, IF NEED TO USE SMALL BRUSH TO CLEAN THE UNIT. --DO NOT USE ANY METAL TOOLS (SCISSORS, SCREW DRIVERS, ETC.) TO CLEAN THE STRIPPER. --NO COMPRESSED AIR OR FREON IS ALLOWED FOR CLEANING.
